I purchased my 1st Intense (2018 ACV) back in September. What an incredible bike! The best part of it was the Kore North Team with Ryan at the helm. Just a great group of guys who were informative, experienced, and most of all... patient. I went in there multiple times just to look around, and most of the time I never purchased anything, but I never, even once, felt like I wasn't welcome there, and I still don't. They didn't have an attitude like some bike shops I have been to, they always answered any questions I had with honest, ( i'm not trying to to sell you a bike) answers, and Ryan showed extreme patience, and a willingness to educate me on the biking community, area, and Intense Bicycles. So a big thanks to everyone at Kore North for making my buying experience fun and exciting, and most of all a big thanks to Ryan who always treated me with respect, and made sure I new exactly what I was buying, and then took the time to set up the bike properly before I took delivery. Even now he address any concerns I have without hesitation. Your not just purchasing a bike, your getting a lifetime of free service, and a shop that stands by what they sell. You have gained a loyal customer, and a great friend! They truthfully live by what they preach...."our customers are our friends".....Thank you Kore North, and Thank You Ryan!!
Only care about upsaleing you on deity products, i asked them to rim my new tires and asked if they had pins for my pedals they said "no, but check out these black cats" i told them "ill think about it" and what did they do? they put the new deity pedals on my bike and billed me for them (i like them but my raceface pedals were perfectly fine just needed a few pins). Here's where i made a mistake. I decided to give them another chance, so I take my bike in again to get my bottom bracket swapped out, get my suspension tuned and i asked if they would clean my bike up as well cause you know im young and make a shit wage soo why not? i thought they could manage that... well no, they apparently couldn't, so basically a full tune-up is what i asked for. guess what i got? id call it a tune-down. were my shocks tuned? no. they pumped my shocks so stiff it might as well have been a fixy and my rebound was spongy as hell. they did a crap job on my bottom bracket and only screwed in my cranks half way with the lubricant oozing out looking like shit. and heres the big one: did they clean my bike.... think about this.. how hard is to wipe a bike down? IT LOOKED WORSE THAN WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF. Im not a detective but im pretty sure i can tell when my bike has been ridden on a muddy trail. I realize these dudes are surrounded by shitty intense bikes, so yeah, they're gonna pop a stiffy when a Santa Cruze enters the room. but damn im not paying you to put miles in on it. I hope you guys enjoyed riding it more than i did after your so called mechanics gave it the worst tune ever.
And no. I DONT need Deity composite bars! My carbon fiber bars are perfectly fine.
