Definitely these guys are the best guides. My best point of view about Peru Biking is they are all time finding new trails and new MTB options cause many of the agencies in Peru OFFER THE SAME THING except Peru Biking that offers Bikepacking and Expeditions around montains and glaciers. Cheers

Bryan is an excellent guide and heads a well run operation. We set up a private trip for two people and were able to knock out tons of trail in the Sacred Valley and in the Cusco area. We started in the Sacred Valley in a charming small town. He had us set up in a great little bed and breakfast that made dealing with the bikes super easy and very secure. The rides in the Sacred Valley are breathtaking. We got shuttled up long roads, often dirt, and dropped onto trails that generally took us back to the Sacred Valley. Often they're ancient Inca trails that take you across some of the famous terracing, sometimes they're alpaca paths used by local ranchers and farmers, sometimes they're had cut mountain bike trails carved by the locals. We definitely saw things and people, that few foreigners ever get to see. There are many more trails in this area than are published on trailforks.
In the Cusco area, there are some crazy high mountain top starts, side hilling through shale, sometimes scree field free-riding, leading to river trails. Closer to town, it's obvious that the local MTB scene is real. They might not be on high dollar carbon enduro bikes, but they definitely build some cool trail, and often finish it off with some "urban downhill"
We didn't do some of the bigger back country stuff where your bike gets shuttled by livestock and you put in long miles on foot to get into some of the wildest places, but damn it looks cool. Also, if you have a rest day in the Sacred Valley, a day trip to Maccu Picu is totally doable, but plan ahead for that... Tickets can be limited during the high season.
Bring a bigger trail or enduro bike that is comfortable on the steeps. It's British Columbia steep in some places. You can survive on a XC/light trail bike if you're a good rider, but it will be less fun. If you're fit, you'll be riding a lot. These are full days. Pay attention to the spare parts list Bryan will send you too.
