I will say that on the floor they mostly have hybrids, but that comes with the territory being located right next to a University. However, if you're in Palo Alto and you want to get your hands on a sick Santa Cruz or maybe a super clean Ibis hit up the good people at the Bike Connection. They also have other brands that are more affordable for people like myself like Giant and Scott. The guys that work here are great, stop by and check it out.
The vibe of the shop is kinda messy, there is organization of categories but there are just too many bikes on display, especially considering many are just the same bikes with different sizes. This is the shop I bought my bike from so I have a lot of experiences with them in the service department too. When I call them with questions the response is a mixed bag, sometimes Sonny or Kevin would answer and it would be super helpful because they ride mountain bikes and have experience working on mountain bikes. But other times some Mexican guys would answer the phone and I personally find it really difficult to understand their tone and the solution they provide is usually "bring it in", "we don't know", "give me a second we will get back to you (and don't)" or just some stuff I can't understand what they are saying. There is also the one time before I learned how to bleed brakes, I brought it in for a brake bleed, thinking it was going to be covered by the 1 year shop warranty, but nope which feels kinda weird because it was suppose to include all labor and stuff. Other than that, I love the brands they carry. I love Marins (follow my Strava @Marin Boyo) and I love Scotts and Marins,
