Whatcom Mountain Bike Coalition (WMBC) is a non-profit organization that is committed to preserving and enhancing bicycle trail access in Whatcom County through stewardship, education & advocacy.
Your donations and membership enable all WMBC’s trails, projects, programs, and events. Your financial generosity is why we are able to support our community!
WHAT YOUR DONATIONS DO:
ENABLE TRAIL CONSTRUCTION & MAINTENANCE
WMBC manages 85 miles of maintained trails in Whatcom County and we are always looking to expand! That means more than 8000 hours of volunteer work and many days on the trails.
FUND ADVOCACY FOR TRAIL AND OPEN SPACE ACCESS
We advocate for our trails by working local land managers, user groups, and our community.
CREATE ACCESSIBLE PUMP TRACKS AND SKILL ZONES
Pump tracks are fun for riders of all ages and abilities. They improve access to riding with their urban locations and quick learning curve. We are working on building more across our community.
FUND CONTINUING OPERATION & EXPANSION OF PROGRAMS
Getting more kids riding bikes and participating in trail work. By giving all youth the same opportunity to own a bike and contribute to their community we build a stronger future for all of us. Continuing the maintenance and building of all current programs including reaching out to more youth will help us grow.
BUILD COMMUNITY THROUGH INCLUSIVE EVENTS
WMBC hosts many events to build community, work on trails, raise funds, and recognize volunteers. From our annual Shoot the Trails Awards fundraiser to our weekly spring race series, we love to bring people together with a common passion for riding and preserving our local trails.
