Past Events
Recently came to explore Shell Ridge and vicinity by MTB and ran into a lot of conflicting trail use info, where trail signage did not match park map labels... Best map I've found thus far is here: savemountdiablo.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Mount-Diablo-and-Surrounding-Parks-Mount-Diablo-Regional-Trail-Map.pdf and might be nice to have Trailforks labels be consistent with local jurisdictional maps. No small undertaking, but would be nice... ***ALSO NOT SURE if "save mount diablo" has any authority, but it seems to be a nice compilation. I submitted a couple edits where I ran into conflicting info, but there is A LOT more to edit when compared to the hike/horse/bike/NOBIKE designations on the park maps.
