SaveRocky Top is a local trail system of cross country single track. As of 2014 there is about 13 miles of trails. The system in on private land and is operated by Cowiche Canyon Conservancy.

Take Summitview Road west out of Yakima. You will heads out of town and head up a large hill where the road turns to two lanes. Stay in the left lane. As you see the top of the hill approaching slow down and prepare to take a left on Rocky Top road. Be cautious, the site line of oncoming traffic is short and about 50mph. Follow Rocky Top road for about a half mile and take a left into a large parking area which is lined with basalt boulders.

Excellent views of Yakima and West Valley. Fairly nontechnical with a mellow gradient. Easy climb and fast going downhill.

Climbing single track, Mostly non-technical although there are loose rocks in the trail. As it gets closer to the top the switchbacks get tight and steep.
