If you do not like exposure, I would recommend skipping the short 4.5 mile loop that includes "The Ledges." The short exposed spots can be walked, but that's up to the rider to have the discipline to know their limit.

This trail offers great variety, and gets the rider on the signature "The Ledges" trail. This is a great option for riders who enjoy some XC, but also want some adrenaline It offers a blend of flow, as well as small drops, and jumps ranging from small kickers to full size gap jumps. Everything has an alternate "go around" line for the drops and jumps. "The Ledges" is rated black for some exposure, and difficult technical riding, but a high intermediate rider can ride it with a few spots they may want to walk.
