        Welcome to the Baileys Trail System Located in the Appalachian foothills of Southeast Ohio, the Baileys offers 88 miles of trails for every level of rider. The Baileys is built for all skill levels of cyclists, hikers, runners, adaptive athletes, hunters, and nature enthusiasts. Two trailheads are currently open--the Chauncey-Dover Park Trailhead and the Doanville-York Trailhead--with a third trailhead to be constructed in Buchtel. Grab a map and discover the Baileys Trail System on your public lands. The Baileys Trail System has direct community connections to the communities of Nelsonville, Buchtel, and Chauncey, as well as a bikeway connection to the City of Athens via the 23-mile long Hockhocking Adena Bikeway.         Access Info:
        There are currently two Trailheads at the Baileys Trail System:

        The Chauncey Dover Park Trailhead, located at 8433 West Bailey Road, Millfield, OH, 45761. The Chauncey-Dover Park Trailhead is located at the Chauncey-Dover Community Park in Chauncey, Ohio, near Hwy 33 and Rt. 13. From Rt. 13, turn onto W. Bailey Rd and cross the train tracks. After a couple hundred feet, the long, paved driveway into the main parking area will be on the left.

        The Doanville-York Trailhead Park, located at 5034 West Bailey Road, Nelsonville, OH 45764. The Doanville-York Trailhead is located on W. Bailey Rd., about 4.5 miles from the Chauncey-Dover Trailhead. Or, coming from Columbus, take US-33 E and exit 185 for OH-78/OH-691 toward Nelsonville/Buchtel. Turn right onto OH-691/Happy Hollow Rd., left onto Old US-33/Twp 36, left onto Lang Rd., and left onto W. Bailey Rd. The trailhead will be on the right.

        Trails can also be accessed at road crossings by parking along the side of the road. Please be aware of where you choose to park; avoid parking on private land and remember to pull completely off the road when parking.
