The Beck Lake trails offer a wide variety of trails, from easy and flowy to old school bedrock fall line trails. There is something for all skill levels. Built in 2016 to provide trail access from within the Cody City limits, they are easily accessible from the main trail head at 14th street/Reservoir drive. The main trail head is where the bike park is located with bathrooms and access to the water-based fun at the lake and reservoirs. There is a surprising amount of variety to the terrain when you get into it. Bedrock regularly pops up and the hillside is regularly punctuated with valleys.
If you are new to the area, we recommend crossing the canal bridge and heading up “Daily Grind” to the top of the hill, take in the spectacular view, and choose any one of the several routes down. Enjoy.
