SaveA recreational area sitting up a steep embankment from the valley below. There are 3 ways up/down from here, a gravel road (Stone Mountain Doubletrack), super steep and rugged approach from 9400S on the North side, and Boulders hiking trail (Hiking only) to the South.
Once you are up here at the reservoir, the grades ease up and it's gentle for the next mile. A hiking trail goes into Wilderness Area and there the trail is super steep and there is some exposure on slippery rocks wet from the spray from the waterfall. People have died here, be careful
