SaveBoggs Mountain Demonstration State Forest is filled with windy singletrack with trail surfaces predominantly pine needles over hardpack. The rolling terrain rewards pedaling hard, and is enjoyable for all skill levels. There are good options for primitive camping (no water access) on site for $25/night (as of July 2020).
All of the trails were destroyed by the Valley Fire in 2015. Reconstruction began in 2019, with over 7 miles of singletrack restored as of 2020 and many more to come.
