        Chamoson s'étend sur 3 500 ha de vergers, de vignobles, de mayens, d'alpages et de roches. Son relief d'une surprenante diversité s'étire des berges du Rhône jusqu'au sommet de la chaîne abrupte du Haut-de-Cry.

        Avec 417 hectares de vignobles, il s'agit de la plus grande commune viticole du canton. Le Johannisberg reste son vin emblématique et peut obtenir l'appellation Grand Cru ainsi que la Petite Arvine, le Pinot Noir et la Syrah. Un vaste réseau de sentiers pédestres invite à la découverte d'in territoire qui va du Rhône au Muveran et de nombreux événements viticoles et culturels ryhtment l'année.

        Chamoson covers 3,500 hectares of orchards, vineyards, mountain pastures, meadows and rocks. Its surprisingly diverse terrain stretches from the banks of the Rhone to the rugged peaks of the Haut de Cry.

        With 417 hectares of vineyards, this is the largest winegrowing community in the canton. Johannisberg is still its emblematic wine and can be granted the designation of Grand Cru alongside Petite Arvine, Pinot Noir and Syrah. A vast network of footpaths offers a chance to explore an area that stretches from the Rhone to the Muveran mountains, with a wide variety of winegrowing and cultural events throughout the year.

        Chamoson umfasst eine Fläche von 3'500 ha mit Obstgärten, Weinreben, Maiensässen, Alpweiden und Felsen. Die erstaunliche Vielfalt des Reliefs erstreckt sich vom Rhoneufer bis zum Gipfel des schroffen Bergmassivs des Haut-de-Cry.

        Mit 417 ha Rebbergen ist Chamoson die grösste Weinbaugemeinde des Kantons. Hauptrebsorten sind der Johannisberg, der auch in Grand-Cru-Qualität erhältlich ist, sowie Petite Arvine, Pinot Noir und Syrah. Das grosse Wanderwegnetz lädt zum Entdecken einer Region ein, die sich von der Rhone bis zum Muveran erstreckt und alljährlich mit weinbauspezifischen und kulturellen Veranstaltungen aufwartet.
