I spent some time delimbing it and dragging the limbs off trail so it's passable, but didn't have the time to remove the trunk. It's very doable with a handsaw. Not in a dangerous place, in a flatter section of trail so you will see it well in advance of encountering it. I cut out a few other fallen trees near the top of the old road grade. Lots of minor sticks from the high winds are scattered about still. Please consider taking a minute or two out of your ride to clear a small section of trail. | Wet | view | ||

I cleared a couple of smaller trees blocking the trail with a hand saw and pulled any derailleur snaggers off the trail on my way down. Middle Ridge just below Galen's Step was completely blocked by three fallen trees. I mostly removed the smaller two and delimbed the bigger one (see pics) so you can get a bike through now. There were two or three additional 12-15" diameter trees across the trail further down the trail after the main hikeabike sections. The lower ridge is clear except for small boughs and the like and one 15" dia tree just before you intersect with the Lost Lake trail. | Wet | view | ||
