Taking the trail directly across from the parking area on Greenwood Rd is Panther Run Trail and it continues as it crosses the gas line where it joins the upper section of Coupler. This is a red/blue blaze. Coupler is a yellow blaze that is accessed at the gas line. On PR Tr, big tree down in back of the camp, also right after the cockeyed bridge (due to a fallen tree’s root ball). On the yellow blaze Coupler, tree down right away after the gas line and several more heading down along the stream. | Variable | view | |||

Both trees that were across the trail up the hill from the cables that stretch across Coupler Run were cut to open the trail. The stone ramp I built over the second one was left in the middle of the trail, so I removed the rocks to clear the trail. Thanks to whoever did the hard work, at the furthest point from a road on this trail. I haven’t ridden these trails for a couple months, and the summer storms have taken their toll. 2 trees down behind the camp; always seems to be a place for downed trees; one small, one very large double tree. More down after crossing the gas line. Another large one after climbing the hill from the stream, further up where the hill isn’t as steep. Several down on Panther Run as well; Upper Horn Shanty clear as was Bloom Rd, but a couple new small trees down on Horn Shanty on the return to the parking lot.
