SaveThe Downerville State Forest Trail System was officially opened in the summer of 2014. It has approximately 12 miles of single track cross country style riding with a few sustained downhill sections on most of the trails. "Slingshot" is a one-way flow trail with 10 turns, that starts at the top of Nicky's Loop and winds all the way down to the river trail. A drop of approximately 200 ft.
