        The Gauley Base Trails are some of Pocahontas County's finest XC riding. Each trail in this area is easily accessible from the parking lot area, some trailheads are just a short pedal away. Riders have the opportunity to stack their loops here or you can set a shuttle to the top of Mine Road to ease down on some of the gravel road climbing. Riders of all levels should be able find something enjoyable in this area.
