This trail system was originally maintained by the legendary Hadley family and has been adopted by RVC. The former location of the Hadley Challenge Race until Hillside was cut off by the new bypass highway.

The three trailheads with parking are:
        1) The Penniac Rec Center (accessed via Harry Allen Rd) *Preferred
        2) Hillside (accessed via River Rd... don't block the NB Trail or River Rd)
        3) Blue Bear (accessed via Route 8... look for gate 1km south while driving northbound)

Also, do not attempt to take any of the private roads down into Penniac other than the Penniac Rec Center Rd. There are numerous logging roads heading down into the community and some of these will land you directly into someone's back yard. Please be respectful of these landowner's privacy.
