SaveHighdown Hill is a 81m hill in the South Downs. It is included as part of the South Downs National Park, however it is only connected with the rest of the national park to the north and the A27 splits it from the main part of the park.
At the summit is an Iron Age fort which overlooks Littlehampton, Angmering, Ferring and Worthing with views along the coast and out to see.
Highdown only has a few cross country trails, however it does act as an off road link between Worthing and Angmering, and makes a good route to get to Angmering Park and into the rest of the South Downs.

• 100 ★ 0.0 • 2,000 ft • 7 ft • 85 •
Narrow dirt singletrack that runs alongside the A280, can get overgrown by the bushes on either side of the trail. At the western end the trail turns 90 degrees and becomes paved, passing under the A27 and ending opposite the Worlds End...
• 85 ★ 3.0 • 719 ft • 0 ft • 84 •
Short, rocky section of singletrack. Be careful if riding east to west as the trail ends very close to the road.
• 60 ★ 0.0 • 2,458 ft • 58 ft • 60 •
Undulating, dirt singletrack, narrow in places. Can get a little overgrown in summer, but remains passable. Muddy in winter.
• 20 ★ 0.0 • 3,849 ft • 38 ft • 58 •
Gravel/Dirt doubletrack trail, with a short section of singletrack at the top of the hill. The upper section of the trial runs through some woods and has a few rocky drops and potholes, nothing too technical but in autumn these can be...
• 55 ★ 0.0 • 1,853 ft • 108 ft • 56 •
Chalky dirt trail that climbs around the south side of Highdown Hill up to the summit. The lower section is steeper and the surface can be loose in the placer. The upper section is a slow steady climb with great views out to sea.
• 95 ★ 2.0 • 3,360 ft • 0 ft • 55 •
Climb up the east side of Highdown Hill. Not the most interesting trail in the area, but a great way to connect to the trails on the north side of the hill and then on into Angmering Park.
• 50 ★ 0.0 • 3,617 ft • 0 ft • 31 •
Restricted byway that runs parallel to the A280. Dirt surface that gets muddy after rain, if the rain is heavy some sections are more like a river than a trail.
