SaveWEBC Libro Centre Trails Overview:
The Libro Centre trails is a multi-phased trail system in Amherstburg, Ontario developed for mountain biking. Beginning with Phase 1, Windsor Essex Bike Community (WEBC) created an official land stewardship agreement with the Town of Amherstburg to build the first set of trails that were completed in June 2023. Phase 1 consists of three downhill trails, a return climb trail, and the first loop of a larger planned XC cross county trail ("The Pioneer"). These trails were built by volunteers and completely funded by local community donations.
Phase 2 ("The Frontier") of the Libro Centre Trails was completed in June 2024 adding 3 km of new trails and Essex County's first ever sanctioned jump lines
Phase 3 ("The Last Stand") of the Libro Centre Trails marks the third and final phase of the trail loop at the Libro Centre Trails. Completed in August 2025, this dynamic and fast-paced trail meanders through two distinct mature tree stands and includes a man-made hill for some higher speed downhill sections. Riders will encounter various berms, jumps, rock work, and wooden features that add excitement to the ride. This phase of the trail network was also completely built and funded by Windsor Essex Bike Community (WEBC).
Trail Network Background Information:
The Libro Centre Trails have been designed, funded, and constructed entirely by Windsor Essex Bike Community (WEBC). WEBC raised over $200,000 and utilized over 5000 volunteer hours to construct and actively maintain these trails.
This trail network is truly a product of incredible community collaboration that has seen unbelievable effort and commitment to design, fund, and construct these trails. Make sure to go check them out!
