Mount Airy Forest is home to Cincinnati’s first natural surface trail system within city limits—just off I-74 and minutes from downtown. With nearly 6 miles of multi-use trails, this urban oasis is designed for mountain biking, hiking, and trail running.

Since opening in 2019, the trails have become a go-to spot for locals and visitors alike, offering a mix of technical features, scenic overlooks, and punchy climbs. Expect roots, rocks, and the occasional optional jump line to keep things interesting.

You can access the trail system from two trailheads:

        Creamy Whip Trailhead
        The Falls

Benches along the trail system offer spots to take in the forest canopy and catch your breath. Whether you're looking for a short scenic loop or a sweat session on two wheels, Mount Airy delivers.

Pro Tip: After your ride, treat yourself to a cone at Putz’s Creamy Whip—just bring cash.
