        A beautiful area of sandstone and cedar. The riding is largely intermediate and expert. The trails pass over a lot of large rock and you have to constantly be on your game. The views from the top of the ridge are spectacular. Lots of climbing gives you lots of descending. The trails get easier the further out you go to the North.
        As of 2024 there is an official trail head with toilets and picnic tables. This area is planned for significant expansion in 2025. Stay tuned for more trails.

        Access Info:
        From Cody, take highway 120 north. From the bridge that crosses the river as you leave town, proceed 2.8 miles to Road 7WC (there are signs for the Cody Shooting Complex and Newton Lakes). Turn left and proceed 1.4 miles until you see the large Outlaw Trails sign on the right. Approaching from the North on Highway 120, turn right onto Road 7WC and proceed 1.4 miles.
