acre grass mound that was once an active landfill (currently closed to the public). Riley Trails features
7 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking and cross-country skiing. Riley Trails has been owned by
Ottawa County for many years but was designated for park use in 2006. A park master plan was
approved in 2007 and park improvements including parking lot upgrades, trail improvements, picnic
sites and toilet were added later that same year.
