SaveTres Cantos es un municipio español de la provincia y Comunidad de Madrid, situado a 22 kilómetros al Norte de la capital, en la corona metropolitana, en el eje de la M-607. Es una ciudad con una localización privilegiada y posee un entorno de gran calidad y alto valor ambiental, pues linda con los Montes del Pardo, por el sur, y el de Viñuelas, por el sureste. Se trata de una localidad situada en el Camino de Santiago de Madrid.
Formaba parte de Colmenar Viejo, hasta su segregación en 1991. Se llama Tres Cantos por el nombre de un vértice geodésico próximo a los terrenos donde se creó la ciudad. Situada 22 km al norte de Madrid.
