Description:
Quick word of warning to anyone looking to ride bikes here, no one rides off-road here anymore so be ready for terrible trail conditions. There's almost never a good time of year to ride here. The equestrian crowd 'took over' and then didn't maintain anything at all. Access from the Dewitt Pond area is basically cut off unless you want to get wet. Honestly most people ride gravel from the Picnic Area if anything. Also the artesian well has sadly been gone for years so no drinking water is available. Consider parking at the S&T Research Station which is just a mile or so south of the Picnic Area on the chip/seal road.
