Description:
Rode it Memorial Day weekend 2024. After the spring runoff from 2023, Taylor canyon has a section or two you might need to get off the bike. Once you cross the bridge and are officially on the Malans trail you’ll likely hike-a-bike up a couple steep rocky sections. Other than that, Malans is obviously just a doozie to get up. The ride down was more chill than expected. That rocky hike a bike section goes no problem on the decent.
Just be cautious of hikers/runners. This trail gets busy with them. They’re all usually stoked you have a bike on their favorite trail.

The trail is fully gone in spots from run off and flooding. For hiking there are tough work around s, for bikes your better off just walking up... view
