Description:
Because of significant rain, wind, and flooding associated with Hurricane Helene, DuPont State Recreational Forest (DSRF) is making the following closures:
Hooker Falls Access Area (parking lot) is closed because of flooding.
All Single Track Trails are closed because of flooding, saturated trail surfaces, and fallen trees.
Visitors are strongly encouraged to cancel plans to visit DSRF during and for several days after the storm due to potentially hazardous conditions. Check back on the DSRF website to see when these closures are no longer in effect.
