Description:
This trail has really gone to crap in the Last few years.
Originally built as a beginner friendly trail, the top two thirds clearly haven’t had any maintenance for years. Basically a chossy mess, loose rocks rolling around everywhere, prickly nettles overgrowing the trail in parts… don’t bother with the upper two thirds. The bottom third is running really well, near-perfect, as long as you can get to it.

I can’t not agree. The removal of the rock armoring has ruined the tread and made it a hard blue in some sections. What’s with all the shortcuts too? The berm gaps are fun but is it really worth it? The old track will become seldom ridden and eventually unmaintained. Do better Mt. Buller!
