Mar 10, 2025 Louis Creek Track Trail Report

Ruts up Porika Road have had major remediation and are gone. In a number of the steep sections there has been fist-sized+ aggregate laid thick, which is hard to retain control on when climbing. If the whole road ends up with this surface, it will be a tough ride up until it settles. Louis Creek track itself good. Pine all felled at the bottom and finding the track again after 4WD section a little tricky as overgrown. Continuing down the 4WD track to road another option (track alongside river not great).
