Honestly not in too bad of shape. Could see it getting really overgrown and the underbrush and grass come in.

Rode on 5/6/26. A few small snow banks, but nothing that impedes progress. I will say the one sketchy section where most people get off their bikes looked very loose and very dry, enough so that I wasn't willing to risk it this year and decided to go up and around. padsable for hikers, but yeah if you have a bike maybe consider an alternate route.

Rode on 5/6/26. 4 downed trees near the bottom of the trail and another 4 or so closer to the top. No snow in sight until you clear the tree line. spent way too long brushing parts of the trail from the winter deadfall, its far from perfect but I cleared many of the bad sections and was able to bomb down it without fear. Gate is still closed for the winter so I had to access the trail by parking at marbel mtn and biking 5mi on FR83. downed trees are all of the small-med size and can be easily got around.

Great conditions! The full moon was amazing from up on this trail, cannot beat this ride during a full moon! A bit overgrown in some of the area's leading down to the ridge, but not too terrible. A long sleeve and pants highly recommended.

Couldn't even get 50ft into the Eastern entrance of this trail. Super overgrown.
