Fantastic intermediate-advanced loop through the scenic Forbes State Forest Enjoy riding through a fern covered forest floor, rhododendron tunnels, mossy rock gardens and mountain steams. Southwestern PA's "little Pisgah". First half is mostly fast downhill featuring a few steep and rocky sections to keep it gnarly and you off the saddle. Second half is a pretty gradual climb up with one steeper and loose final punch back up to the lot.

Alternately, one can park at the Hess or Mill Run Trailhead parking lots to start the big climb earlier in the route and avoid ending on it to the Tebolt parking lot.
