Possibly one of the most popular loops for Sedona riders, this route takes you along the beginnings of Chuckwagon, connecting to Mescal (it can be ridden both directions, but locals prefer counter-clockwise). From the AZ Cypress Trailhead, head up Snake to Girdner to connect to Chuckwagon. Continue to the Mescal connector, about 1.25 miles down the trail and hang a left. Climb the beginnings of Mescal to the picturesque amphitheater. Don't let the views distract you from the trail - Mescal has a couple of spicy moves. Return to the TH via Dead Man's Pass, Aerie, and Cockscomb.
