A fitting and dramatic end to the Finger Lakes Trail at the summit of Slide Mountain.

From the Denning Trailhead, the trail follows the yellow discs of the Phoenicia-East Branch Trail to the junction with the Long Path. This used to be the end of the FLT. Take a right here for a quick jaunt to Upper Manhattan after crossing the George Washington Bridge and catch a show on the Great White Way (Broadway).

Join the blue-blazed Curtis-Ormsbee trail and then the red-blazed Burroughs Range Trail to the top of Slide Mountain and the end of the Finger Lakes Trail.
