Located in the scenic Galisteo Basin Preserve, this loop is a great sampling of trails on the southern half of the preserve. Ideal for beginner and intermediate riders, while also being fun enough for all skill levels, this route will serve up great views, narrow singletrack, and a few rock features.

Begin at the Cowboy Shack trailhead and continue up the brief doubletrack before taking your first left and to begin the singletrack climb up to the red rock ridge. Here you will start your up-and-downs as you zig and zag your way through the countryside linking up multiple trails.

Don't worry about following the route exactly or getting lost: all intersections are signed and each loop offers some fun.
