Always carry enough water for yourself and your pet! Pay attention to actual conditions and never rely solely on the presence of natural water sources; this suggested route is not a guarantee. Your pet's health and well-being is your responsibility!!

When the dog days of summer are upon us and we want to hit the trails with our 4-legged friends, it's good to have watering holes This route maximizes the crossing of our more consistent water sources around the trail network so you can help keep your dogs cool.

A couple of notes: the small bridge at the top of Nimbus there is likely to be just a couple small puddles but there is usually enough to get a drink. And on Last Mile, before heading down Just Smile, the stream is a few yards off to the right, up the doubletrack.
