MTB 2 Il Pongo Pedala alla scoperta dei tesori nascosti di Montese. Questo percorso tocca zone poco abitate e umide per gran parte dell’anno. Seguilo se vuoi meditare un po’ o rinfrescarti dal caldo Lasciati condurre attraverso borghi ricchi di storia, come Riva di Biscia, e paesaggi naturali unici, come la Selva.

Lascia la piazza in discesa verso sud sotto gli alberghi di Montese e dopo aver attraversato il rio S.Martino risali su asfalto in ambiente bucolico e poco trafficato fino a Riva di biscia, borgo storico, per poi scendere nella valletta successiva attraversando la zona argillosa della Selva e passando a fianco all'oratorio dei Carli. E qui, non vuoi avventurarti anche a vedere il punto panoramico del Sasso dei Carli? Dopo lunghi tratti nel bosco costeggia ora campi e piccoli agglomerati rurali con saliscendi per giungere infine a Maserno con possibilità di ristoro. Resta ora una discesa impegnativa che parte a lato del campeggio e sfiora la cascata di Striscialacqua, suggestiva nei momenti successivi alle piogge, prima di risalire a Montese per lo stesso tratto percorso ad inizio giro.
