This is a fun self-shuttled point to point ride. By no means is it all downhill but it does have some great downhill stretches including Hoot Trail, the Hallelujah switchbacks and Miners Trail. Upper reaches may hold snow in the winter and then it is customarily started lower on Pioneer and by the same token, started higher on Pioneer in late Spring, customarily at the Omega Rest Stop. Some of these trails are official and maintained by BONC. Please note that some of them are unsanctioned historical use routes but may not be maintained.
