The Squamish Traverse is an out-and-back race taking place on August 17th, 2024. Part XC marathon, part gravel grinder, the Squamish Traverse has it all. Race through stunning alpine meadows, navigate creek crossings, and explore the world-class terrain of Squamish. 100 kilometers, 4000 meters of elevation gain, 90% off-road.Racers will contend with three major climbs, and 90 kilometers of world-renowned off-road terrain. Climbing as high as 1700 meters above the town of Squamish, racers will navigate scenic alpine meadows enjoying stunning views in every direction. In total, The Squamish Traverse includes almost 4000 meters of elevation change, making for a magnificent challenge. It's up to you to conquer.

Detailed Description
Squamish Traverse is a 63 mile intermediate race route located near Squamish British Columbia. This mountain bike primary route can be used both directions and has a extreme overall physical rating. This route includes 24 trails. This route climbs 13,694 ft with a max elevation of 5,737 ft then descends -13,698 ft.

    This trail is all blown up. Do not make the journey expecting a green trail. This is not a beginner friendly trail. Shame to see this whole area in such disrepair. reporter
