Park at the Underdown Recreation Area off of Copper Lake Road. The route is gives you a taste of what the Underdown is about. Plenty of hills to climb as it crosses the Ige Age National Scenic Trail several times. The route takes locals about 1.5-3 hours to complete. The Dog Lake Shelter is at mile 3.4 and is a great place to stop and have a snack. The route is doable after repeated days of rain, but avoid the wooden features if wet. The features with GripStrips installed can be ridden when wet.

Frozen ground. Studded tires suggested for riding lakes. Otherwise mountain or fat bike is suitable until we receive measurable snow amounts.
