A typically rugged McCall area backcountry trail that meanders through forests and meadows while climbing up to Duck Lake. The trailhead is opposite Upper Payette Lake. Nothing is too crazy on this trail, but it adds up to a blue/black ride in my opinion. The climb isn't strenuous, but is tricky in spots. The trail isn't super challenging, but there are lots of rocks, roots, ruts, and challenging spots. Many people do it as an out-and-back, turning around when the trail gets steep before approaching Duck Lake. PS- don't take the junction 20 Mile lakes despite the name of the trail.
