The whole North Foothills system is most popularly ridden in a counter-clockwise direction, though all trails are bi-directional. Ridden this way, trail 341 is a primarily descending trail with a couple short interspersed climbing sections. Roughly half-way down, trail 230 splits off to the right. Beyond this, several other trails split of to the left, primarily leading to the Elena Gallegos picnic area (there are few, if any signs to indicate which trail you might be on, in general, stay right below the 230 intersection). Trail 341 terminates at the intersection with trail 365. Overall the trail is very wide and smooth with only a couple of rocks here and there.
