This probably my personal favorite trail in Santa Fe. Here is what it has: it is steep, but not brutally so, it is technical, but not ridiculous. It requires precision, but you can get rowdy if you need to. It is occasionally ripping fast, but it tends to be tight and twisty slaloming in an aspen stand. In short, its fantastic. It is also frequented by hikers, so be alert and courteous. Alamos Vista descends from the top of the Quad chairlift and the intersection of Gayway and descends to its intersection with the Aspen Vista trail parking area. I would not recommend this trail as a climb, because it will end up being a hike. Typically it is accessed directly from the ski area via the access roads to the Quad or indirectly by climbing Aspen Vista till it intersects Gayway and descending down to the Quad.

This trail is clear now with a couple dead fall trees. I moved a couple, but there was one that was still too big so watch out for the trees....
