Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail can be accessed from the Cog Railway Base Station by this link path. Parking (fee charged) is available in a gravel lot on the right side of the Base Road (sign: Hiker Parking), 0.4 mi. east of WMNF trailhead parking area.(The upper lots are reserved for Cog Railway customers.) Proceed on foot up the access loop road and through a parking lot to a sign for "Ammonoosuc Trail" behind the main Base Station building on the right. The route turns right on a paved driveway, passes between two cabins, and enters the woods at a trail sign to the right of a third cabin, 0.2 mi. from hiker parking. The link ascends moderately to meet the Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail, 0.3 mi. from the Base Station.
