Starting at the end of the Anna Jean Cummings Park parking lot, you'll keep right at the signs and make the climb up the large hill in front of you. The climb is steep, but definitely doable.
Once at the top of the hill, you'll take a left and ride the singletrack trail along the ridge. (You'll want to stop here for some great views of the mountains and the bay) Keep riding and the trail will dip down to the left and back to the bottom of the hill. Careful, this hill is steep!
Once at the bottom, take a right and you'll find yourself riding along the outside of a grassy field with trees to your right. It's bumpy and singletrack, but can be pretty fast if you want it to be. Make your way around the field until you come to a slight downhill with a bit of a rocky climb back up.
At the top of this, you'll make a right. Now you're on the best part of the trail. It's downhill and singletrack and has about a one-foot drop (optional) part way down the hill (stay to the right for that). You'll then make your way left as the trail leads you up a slight hill and then around another smaller grassy field.
Once you round the field, you have a short but bumpy climb up to the base of the big hill. Take a right at the top and enjoy a short doubletrack downhill and then a short climb back up that will take you right back to where you started!
Drive all the way to the back of the upper parking lot of Anna Jean Cummings Park and the trail head is clear.
