This trail runs along the powerline beside Barrier Lake. South of the Prairie View junction it is signed as a hiking trail [although there's no sign prohibiting bikes], so you might get the stinkeye. That section is not great, with lots of sandy areas to suck up all your momentum. To the north of Prairie View, it provides a nice alternative to StoneyTrail [which gets lots of horse traffic].
