The trail begins at the peak of Baumgartenschneid and is a natural trail that descends over rooty and rocky woods, with a very steep and tricky section in the middle, to the Berggasthaus Riederstein / Galaun. Fun trail.

Access by forest road up from Tegernsee to a trail crossing, then push and carry the bike the last 30 minutes to the peak.
