Bear Track Trail (Forest Trail
climbs from Rock Creek Canyon to Silver Run Plateau. Silver Run Plateau Trail (Forest Trail 64) will veer right at the junction and descend to West Fork of Rock Creek.
This trail is very steep and long but is a great way to loop from Red Lodge with Silver Run and Ingles Creek Trails.
Bear Track Trail continues west along Silver Run Plateau to Timberline Lake Trail (Forest Trail 12) but enters the Beartooth Wilderness immediately West of it's junction with Silver Run Plateau Trail.
The trail is open for the following uses: Hiking, Backpacking, Horseback Riding, Mountain Biking for 5 miles from US Hwy 212 to Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness Boundary.
Access is from Bear Track Trailhead, Timberline Lake Trailhead, or Silver Run Plateau Trailhead.
