Bent Run trail is a spur on the west side of Jakes Rock's trail system. It provides the closest access to the trail system from the city of Warren. It is a great and tough climb to warm up on and an even better descent.
From the top down, it starts of with a few flowy turns on the top of the plateau, before dropping down off the side into narrow, exposed single-track, with tight switchbacks.
This trail demands precision and agility to be ridden at speed, flowing between trees, rocks, and optional trail-side features found along the way. About half-way down there is a chance to catch your breath before the grade steepens again as you approach the bottom of the trail.
Climbing up this trail from the bottom, it starts with a very steep grade and tight switchbacks before mellowing out a tiny bit. The entire trail is climb-able and is a great way to start your ride at Jake's Rocks.
