    Berm, Jump, Gap Jump

Big Ern is an intermediate flow trail that features berms, rollers, and jumps on a wide and smooth trail surface. While there are no mandatory gaps on this trail, it does require enough confidence to ride at speed, up and down steeper lips and landings. Big Ern is a high-speed trail that starts off with big berms and larger rollers as it weaves in and out of the trees. After finding your groove on the face and smooth upper section of Big Ern, the trail will begin to flatten out right underneath the lift. This is a perfect place to pull off and give yourself a break before heading into the lower jump section. Starting again, the first few jumps appear and give you a good understanding of what lies ahead. The trail begins to twist, turn, and ungulate through the woods with a series of tabletops, step downs, step ups, and berms. Cross the road and continue the flow. Even more jumps and features await. The lower half of Big Ern picks up in speed and begins to add even more features in addition to what you’ve already seen. There are hips, tabletops, step downs, and massive berms to keep you entertained right up until the moment you spot the lift.
