The Bigfoot MTB trail is the final 500m stretch of the walker's access path that runs down into Kirkton Glen from Glen Dochart. It's a nice rocky solid natural singletrack that performs well even in the wet.
Access is by riding to the head of the glen on the forest roads and once you see the wooden green Glen Dochart sign, it's a hike-a-bike push up to the fence line. In drier conditions it's worth pushing right up to Irishman's Loch for great views and much longer run back down.
Park at Balquhidder Kirk or Balquhidder Hall. Ride up the forestry roads to the head of Kirkton Glen, where you'll see a sign to Geln Dochart. This is the bottom of the trail. It's a push up the trail to style and fence, where the trail starts.
