This trail is fun, flowy and easy on the rider. It's one of the easiest in the area and is a great trail to start new riders on. It has many whoop-dee-doos and some climbing - but nothing extreme.
The trail skirts along the shore line of beautiful Lake Townsend. There is plenty of variety too as the trail leads you out of the woods for multiple power line crossings. A few sections have deep gullies and dips that are fun to blast through and out of on your bike. Blue Heron flows great and is relatively easy for any rider or hiker to tackle.
